The spirit of discipline, leadership, and national service came alive at Sri Prakash Synergy School as the National Cadet Corps (NCC) recruitment process for the academic year 2026–27 was successfully completed on Monday, 6th July 2026. Conducted under the esteemed supervision of Colonel Harindra Singh Manek, Commanding Officer and Subedar Major Mandeep Singh. The selection trials witnessed enthusiastic participation from students aspiring to become part of one of India's most prestigious youth organizations. The recruitment process was carried out with great professionalism, ensuring that every candidate was evaluated fairly and comprehensively. Following the rigorous selection trials, 25 students were shortlisted to form the school's official NCC cohort for the academic year 2026–27. Their selection marks the beginning of an inspiring journey dedicated to discipline, leadership, patriotism, and personal excellence. Selection Criteria The candidates were assessed based on the standards prescribed by the National Cadet Corps, including: • Physical Fitness: Evaluation of endurance, posture, agility, and overall physical preparedness. • Discipline & Attitude: Assessment of teamwork, conduct, responsiveness to commands, and leadership potential. • Commitment: Determination of each student's willingness to dedicate time and effort towards national service, structured training, and character development. The selection process reflected the core values of the NCC, emphasizing not only physical capability but also integrity, responsibility, and a spirit of service. Building Future Leaders The newly selected cadets will now embark on a transformative journey that offers opportunities to develop leadership qualities, self-confidence, resilience, and a deep sense of civic responsibility. Through regular training, camps, community service, and adventure activities, they will be equipped with skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
