Sri Prakash Synergy School successfully hosted the CBSE Cluster–VII Badminton Tournament (Boys) – 2026, which concluded with a grand valedictory ceremony at the Sita Narasimha Kshetra Indoor Stadium on the school campus in Kakinada.

The three-day championship featured exciting contests in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories, with students displaying exceptional skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Winners and runners-up were honoured with trophies and certificates, while Director Mr. CH. Vijay Prakash felicitated the chief guests with mementoes.

The closing ceremony was graced by Mr. Pantham Venkateswara Rao, MLA, Kakinada Rural; Mr. Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, MLA, Kakinada Urban; Colonel Rithin Mohan Agarwal, Group Commander, NCC Kakinada; and Arjuna Awardee Mr. B. Chetan Anand.

Addressing the gathering, the dignitaries commended Sri Prakash Synergy School for its commitment to nurturing excellence in both academics and sports. They emphasized the importance of discipline, value-based education, teamwork, and holistic development in shaping future leaders. Mr. Chetan Anand also appreciated the school's outstanding organization of the championship.

The tournament champions have qualified to represent the cluster at the CBSE National Badminton Championship, to be held from September 29 to October 5, 2026, at Radha Govind Public School, Meerut.

  • Runner-up: Green City School, Visakhapatnam

Under-17

  • Champion: Gadium English Medium School, Hyderabad
  • Runner-up: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's Public School, Hyderabad

Under-19

  • Champion: Pallavi School, Alwal
  • Runner-up: Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram

Sri Prakash Synergy School also acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the referees, technical officials, and the CBSE observer for ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the tournament.

The championship concluded on a high note, celebrating sporting excellence, teamwork, and the true spirit of fair play while reinforcing the school's commitment to holistic education.
