The CBSE Cluster-VII Basketball Championship 2025, hosted by Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram, from August 9 to 12, witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 1,500 athletes representing 140 teams from nearly 100 schools across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in the Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19 categories. Hyderabad teams emerged as the overall champions of the tournament.
The closing ceremony was graced by Janasena Party leader and Chairman of the **Kakinada Urban Development Authority (KUDA)**, Shri Thummala Babu, who appreciated Sri Prakash Schools for promoting sports and emphasized the importance of learning from both victory and defeat. Organizing Secretary Shri D. Chakravarthy praised the school's efficient management in successfully conducting the event and thanked Director Shri Ch. Vijay Prakash for the excellent arrangements made for the athletes. Speaking on the occasion, Shri Vijay Prakash expressed his delight in hosting such a large-scale tournament and encouraged students to continue practicing their chosen sport with dedication, noting that sports help build energy, discipline, confidence, and resilience. The tournament concluded successfully, celebrating sportsmanship, teamwork, and excellence among young athletes.
