Sri Prakash Synergy School, Tuni, organized an engaging workshop for the mothers of Kindergarten under the theme “Nourishing Mothers, Growing Healthy Kids.” The session was led by alumnus of Sriprakash, a renowned paediatrician, Dr. Shankar. The workshop began with parents noting their child’s daily diet, creating awareness and setting the tone for an interactive session. Dr. Shankar explained the importance of a balanced diet, ideal child’s plate, and the role of macronutrients and micronutrients. He shared practical tips on avoiding junk food, ensuring hydration, managing screen time, and improving sleep through a healthy circadian rhythm. He also spoke about flu, vaccinations, and the importance of supplements—who needs them and who doesn’t. Special emphasis was given to oral care, including when and how to start brushing, making it enjoyable for children, and choosing the right toothpaste. Parents were guided on handling children with poor sleep habits, encouraging healthy eating without force-feeding, and building strong parent-child bonding, which supports brain development. A key highlight was the review of parents’ diet charts, where he suggested ways to make them more balanced. The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, where all queries were addressed patiently. Overall, the workshop was informative, interactive, and enriching, equipping parents with practical strategies to raise healthy and happy children

Vibrant Kindergarten Celebrations at Sri Prakash Synergy School The school recently organized a wonderful blend of the "Tiny Hands, Big Umbrellas" parade and a "Joyful Water Play" event. For these celebrations, the campus was arranged with colourful indoor decorations, interactive water zones featuring slides, and pools filled with multicoloured balls. Special attractions like a fruit stall, juice stall, and a summer clothes display added extra excitement to the festive atmosphere. Rhythmic music and stylish summer accessories like hats and sunglasses set the perfect stage for discovery. Students thoroughly enjoyed the day by proudly parading their vibrant umbrellas, dancing to upbeat tunes, exploring the fruit and juice stalls, and splashing through the water stations with endless laughter. They also showed great interest in the summer clothes display, making the event lively and engaging. These activities allowed them to dive into sensory play and cooperative games, making the most of every moment outside the classroom. Through these experiences, students learned to be more confident as they performed and explored new environments. They developed physical agility and motor skills while navigating the play zones. Most importantly, they practiced social harmony by sharing space and toys, while gaining sensory awareness through hands-on exploration of water, textures, and different tastes.
