Synonymous with Table Tennis Sport, Sri Mukherjee is better known for his meticulous planning and rewarding execution. Having successfully scripted many gold medal – winning performances by paddlers like the Commonwealth Games [2004] at Kavla Lumpur, the World Cadet Championship [2007] in South Africa and the Commonwealth Youth Games [2008] at Pune, this Table Tennis bigwig has shot to enviable fame.
Backed by more than three decades of rich experience as a National Coach for Table Tennis, Sri Mukherjee admirably led the Indian Table Tennis contingent at the Rio-2016 Olympics. Soft spoken and affable, this sexagenarian from Chandigarh was the recipient of the Prestigious Dronacharya Award [2017] for life time achievement in Table Tennis Sport.
With many a stimulating success to his credit, Sri Mukhejee earlier helmed the National Institute of Sports [NIS], Patiala as the Chief Coach for Table Tennis and is presently part of International Table Tennis Federation [ITTF]
