Commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, Sri Prakash Synergy Schools, Peddapuram and Kakinada, and Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Rajahmundry together celebrated Teachers’ Day-2022 at their Peddapuram campus on 5 September 2022.
The cultural extravaganza had a medley of competitions including well-calibrated group songs, aesthetically choreographed group dances, and soul-stirring & evocative skits. With patriotism forming the backdrop, the teacher-participants from all the three branches vied with one another in sustaining enthusiasm and excitement all through the competitions. The group songs’ themes paid rich tributes to great teachers while the dance competition threw light on the creative-edge of the themes like Malhaar song based fusion dance, and An Ode to Mother India. The panel discussion on the trending topic “Is Pen and Paper Test the Best practical way of assessment?” witnessed critical analyses and logical interpretations from the panelists.
The Director of Sri Prakash Schools Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash and the First Lady of the institutions Smt Ch. Sameera graced the celebrations. The heads including the Senior Principal Sri M.V.V.S. Murthy, Professor S.R. Santhanam, Sri A.S.N. Murthy, Principal, Sri Prakash Vidyaniketan, Rajahmundry, and Smt M. Sridevi, Principal, Sri Prakash Synergy Kids, Kakinada were present. Sri Ch. Vijay Prakash, paying floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, exhorted the teaching fraternity to see that students are trained to stand in the forefront in today’s highly competitive learning atmosphere.
The winners in the cultural competitions were duly honored with the first and the second prizes. Books were distributed to all the teachers while the support staff of all three branches were presented gifts as a token of their relentless service. Well-wishers, parents, academic and cultural coordinators, teachers, administrative staff, and students participated in the celebrations.
