The 13th National School Chess Championship 2025, which will be held from 17th to 21st January at Sri Prakash Synergy School, Ramaraopet, Peddapuram, has started on a grand scale. The chess competition, which was attended by about 1200 participants from 26 states, was inaugurated by Peddapuram MLA Sri Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, Telugu Desam Party State Organizing Secretary Sri Raja Suribabu Raju, Director of Sri Prakash Synergy School Sri CH Vijay Prakash and Chairman of Andhra Chess Association Sri KVV Sharma. Shri Nimmakayala Chinarajappa, who was the chief guest for this program, said that sports are very important for students along with education. While education develops mental toughness, sports improve physical health. He congratulated the athletes. Another guest, Sri Raja Suribabu Raju, praised Sri Vijay Prakash, Director of Sri Prakash Schools, for always being at the forefront in promoting sports along with education, and said that it was a matter of great pride that national-level athletes came to Peddapuram town to play. Andhra Pradesh Chess Association Chairman Sri K.V.V. Sharma said that the catering facilities for all the players at Sri Prakash School have been arranged very well and asked the parents of the players to provide all kinds of support for this. Sri Prakash Synergy School Director Sri Vijay Prakash said that although about 1200 students participated in these five-day competitions, arrangements were made to ensure that they did not face any inconvenience and advised all the players to focus on the game. ]]>
